If you've never been fossil hunting before but have always fancied having a go, here's your chance to go on a virtual fossil hunt on Charmouth beach. This virtual fossil hunt was created by Richard Edmonds, Earth Science Manager for the Dorset and East Devon Coast World Heritage Site team. He planted 10 fossils on the beach, exactly as they would occur naturally, washed out of the cliffs by the sea and scattered amongst the pebbles and sand. Apart from the 10 he planted there are many more that were already there.
