It was the annual volunteers and friends of the Centre trip this week and we're jealous we couldn't go! Seems like they had a fantastic time at Durlston Country Park checking out the wildlife and of course a good pub lunch!

We were wondering if there'd be any bits of bone about on the beach today, clearly they'd all been found before we got out there! Ichthyosaur bones galore in this haul, someone had definitely got their eye in for them!

We've got to admit, we're pretty jealous of these

We've got to admit, we're pretty jealous of these ichthyosaur finds coming from 9 year old, Joshua Benfield! This vertebra and paddle, found in Charmouth, are one of the winning entries for last year's fossil competition, now on display at the Centre until September!
