We're celebrating 25 years of the Jurassic Coast W

We're celebrating 25 years of the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site this year, and part of that is 25 years of recording the incredible scientifically important finds from West Dorset and East Devon!

We're proud to unveil, after working closely with @naturalengland and the @unibirmingham, a new website dedicated to the fossil collecting codes and the database of over 650 specimens recorded with us at the Charmouth Heritage Coast Centre.

From dinosaurs to insects, from new species to fossilised skin, found by professional collectors or 5 year old children, there have been some truly phenomenal discoveries on this site. It is our pleasure to be able to share these finds with everyone and show just how special and unique this stretch of the coast is.

We are thrilled to be welcoming local artist Jenny Hunt to our Craft Fair on 31st October. Inspired by the flora and fauna of the Dorset coastline, Jenny sells her sketches as originals, cards, calendars, mugs, books and more.
